Is SPRAVATO® used alone or with other medications?
SPRAVATO® is typically prescribed alongside an oral antidepressant.

How often will I need SPRAVATO® treatments?
When spravato is initiated, visits are twice weekly for 4 weeks and then weekly. Continued treatment is dependent on the patient's response to medication.

On SPRAVATO® treatment days, individuals are observed at the Mensana Center for at least 2 hours after medication administration.
What is monitored during the 2-hour observation period?

During this time, the healthcare provider will monitor for:

  • Respiratory depression (slowed breathing)

What medications should I avoid or discuss before taking SPRAVATO®?

It is crucial to inform your healthcare provider about all medications you take, including over-the-counter medicines, when taking SPRAVATO®:
